Through Deck Block

The SAILSetc Through Deck Block is a compact, low-friction solution for routing control lines cleanly through the deck of your radio yacht while minimising water ingress. The line passes through the block with minimal friction while helping keep water out of the hull.

Developed from SAILSetc's proven through-deck block designs, this latest version offers improved sealing and reliability for modern Dyneema rigging systems. 

Suitable for use with Dyneema lines up to 100kg breaking strain, making it ideal for IOM, Marblehead, Ten Rater and other high-performance radio yachts.

Spectra 5m length, 45kg BS, 0.45mm dia, yellow. 

Rigging screw - M3. Single end design, nickel plated brass, M3 thread, self locking design, 1.2 mm Ø stainless steel wire. This self locking rigging screw can be used in a NON SELF LOCKING mode by removing the O ring. Add a normal M3 nut or a Nyloc self locking nut as preferred to provide the lock nut function.

Corrector weight specifically designed to fit inside 11 mm round mast. Each weight is 10 grams.  The 9.6 mm diameter fits inside most nominal 11mm dia round masts. Nickel plated to help reduce corrosion.

The Sheet/Forestay Attachment is specifically designed for 10mm or 11mm round booms and is ideal for high-load applications such as sheet and forestay attachment points. Made from stainless steel, it features a 3.3mm Ø hole, perfect for use with a Zed Hook (Ref. 87Z). The attachment is carefully engineered to handle significant stress while ensuring smooth operation.

The hole is mechanically de-burred and tumbled to eliminate any rough edges, preventing damage to the sheet as it passes through. Its profile shape is designed to minimize the risk of snagging lines, offering a reliable and efficient solution for your rigging needs.

For applications with lower loads, consider using the lighter and more economical Boom Band with Eye (048-11x) equivalent for a more cost-effective alternative.
