Set Up Guide for the V11 Vickers designed International One Metre - FREE downloadable document.
This guide outlines the recommended set up details for the V11 to assist with a quick set up and tune to help achieve optimum performance for your regular racing as provided by Ian Vickers.
In Australia, Sean Wallis has been sailing the V11 with modification to the specifications outlined in the document to lower the rig in the boat.
To achieve this, it is recommended that you use the Variant Ball Raced Gooseneck with the top section of the gooseneck body trimmed to allow the gooseneck to fit under the deck, in addition the pre-bend applied to our masts is increased to approx 12-14mm providing increased forestay tension which we believe is better suited for AUS conditions.
All SailRC V11 masts are built to the modified AUS specifications.
Lowering the mast in the boat changes only one measurement on the mast (the overall mast length) and is modified as follows

A | 220 | 160 | 120 |
